Beck's decision to hold his latest tea party in front of the Lincoln Memorial on the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech, is a clear example of how low these jackasses will go to stir up publicity.
The MLK celebration is set to march to the under construction memorial to him, located just across the tidal pool from the Lincoln memorial; which will place Sara Failin and Beck's crew in close proximity to them. Close enough for the drastic differences in their perspectives to boil over into physical and verbal conflict.
This could be the next Fort Sumter !

This is slightly off topic, but it just goes to show how Beck is trying to rewrite history with his rally and that undiluted racism still exists in this country.

But, a radical muslim decision to build a mosque on the site of a building that was destroyed by radical Islamic muslims is NOT being a jackass?
How about a fundamental christian decision to erect a statue of geebuz on the site of a building that was destroyed by radical fundamentalist christian, Hank? I don't see you bitching about that one.

If it was offending 70% of the people that lived there then maybe there would be an arguement....
Ah, so that's the litmus test; eh? Tyranny by the majority...real nice...not what the country stands for though.
The problem as I see it, is that decency and common sense know longer applies...there is right and wrong....this case with (I)man ( ;) ) ... is wrong. It is obvious his reasons for building this mosque on that particular site has larger motives other than trying to build "bridges" in the community.
He is going to get his way, because he is protected by our Constitution, and that part is fantastic, but the fact of the mater is, he IS offending many, many citizens of that community by building this mosque, and he does not seem interested in TRYING to "build any bridges"....

Hawk, you so full of yourself. Bullshit. You don't give a damn about where they built that mosque. Just like all of the money you sent to New York to help make the survivors of 9/11 multi millionaires. Just like one of the survivors that built a 8 bedroom, 9 bathroom house at Geist Reservoir.
You just like the rest of the Rapture Right Christians who want to slam the Muslims. Plain and simple. That mosque will no way affect your life, you standard of living, it just gives you a chance for you to get up behind that pulpit and preach hate against the Muslims. :preach:  and :jc: It's wrong and unAmerican.

Why would a Teabagger want to go to Washington and try to steal King's thunder on that is sure looking for trouble.

Ronald Reagan my ass. He and Newt Gingrich started the snow ball to hell. Ronald Reagan and Newt Grinrich are the worst thing that has happened to the middle class. With all of the deregulation and the deficit he left when he left office. Then his buddy George H. Bush put the knife to the golden goose the American worker with NAFTA. I ain't buying your lying bullshit. :chick:
