Title: Neat Old House
Post by: Mr442 on May 06, 2010, 10:30:48 PM
I went for a ride this evening, and stumbled across this abandoned house in Boswell, IN.  It had curved glass in some of the windows, and the round two story shed out back was interesting too.

The way it's built makes me wonder if it was an old church or school house that's been converted.  Would be interesting to see the inside.

I've seen that very house myself. I used to own a place a little south of that location in Tab Indiana. There is a really great bass pond just west of Boswell too! (North side of 352 just over the tracks.)

I've seen the road sign pointing west towards Tab many times, but have yet to go visit.  An unusual name for a town.

Not much of a town, blink and you'll miss it. Agricultural town with a grain elevator. Great pheasant hunting all around there too. And a KILLER smallmouth spot in an irrigation ditch nearby. They come up from the Wabash.

I owned a small farm within the town for several years. Refurbished the house on it and then when my father in law passed on, (they lived right across the road from it), I sold it off. . . I wish I still had it a lot lately. . .
