Title: COG and Girls Gone Wild!
Post by: Palehorse on April 18, 2010, 08:54:29 PM
I was running to the store this afternoon. As I passed the new Holiday Inn Express on 67th and Scatterfield I couldn't help but notice that they had (have) a great big ol bus parked sideways so you can clearly read the advertising on the entire portion of both sides of the bus. And that bus was the Girls Gone Wild bus!

Now, I know that at least 2 deacons and 1 pastor for the COG had to drive past that on their way to and from the church mansion they built over there off Columbus Ave. I wonder if the city will be getting an earful over that "sinful display of adulterous behavior" the bus had on it?  :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Bet the Sunday evening service was full of hellfire and brimstone!

Figure of speech. . .Learn the vernacular. Nudity and promiscuous behavior and acts are inclusive.

Depends on which church you go to. Southern Baptists believe that even thinking about sex or looking at someone, who you're not married to and finding them attractive is adultry.

BTW, I happened to wonder...Do you think that "Boys Gone Wild"   would be as popular as GGW?

According to a lot of women I know, men are wild as it is. They don't need a bus or program. Just a small bit of encouragement is required to release the beast within!

The term was "adulterous behavior". There is a difference according to theological definitions of the terms.

I don't know a Christian church that wouldn't consider acts of random nudity, running around scantily clad, and general acts of lewdness as adulterous, as in promoting behaviors that facilitate, and enable adultery, or lead to it.

Again, it depends on which compass you use to measure your morality.

Well then it's a good thing they don't write the definitions for dictionaries.

It's a good thing Christians didn't write a lot of things, including the constitution!
