Title: Should the USA have a VAT(valvue added tax) on foregin made products?
Post by: The Troll on March 28, 2010, 05:26:23 PM
Last year Korea exported over 900,000 cars into the USA. The let in only 4,000 American cars into Korea.  Korea has a 400% import tax on American cars.  Would you pay $80,000 for a $20,000 car.

Also France has a 20% VAT(tax) on any America product sent into France and and this is the same with Germany and several other countries.

Come on guys, let you voices be heard and you women it's your country too and the foregin countries are screwing the USA.

Also an American can not own land, house or a business 100% in Mexico, no more than 49%.  But Mexicans can come up here, buy a company and shut it down and move it to Mexico.

What should we do about it?  Let's debate it.

I don't know much about this value added tax, I need to learn more about it..........but, I am all in favor of making the playing fields level with our foreign counterpart in business
