QuoteUnless you speak Republican, it's nearly impossible to understand what they're talking about on health care. Learn what Republicans really mean when they say common phrases like "start over," "socialism," and "no." Then help others decipher all the Republican crazy talk.
The good GOP, they don't want you to sue a doctor or hospital. This has happened. One man had bone cancer of the right arm, they cut off the left on first. Then they cut off the right one to get the cancer. One man cancer in one testicle. First they removed the good one. Then they have to cut off the one which had cancer in it. Then in Texas a man had cancer of the bone in one leg. They cut off the good one then they cut off the one with cancer and the Republicans want to cut the damages you will to receive to $50,000 to $150,000. How much money would you want Henry, if they cut you "balls" off, if you got any,
But when the Democrats wanted a recount in Florida, the Republicans sued and took it to the Supreme Court and we got George W. The most stupid president in the history of the United States of America. Somebody say Amen.
They sued Clinton over 1500 times to get information, which turned out to be bullshit. How many times did anyone sued for information from Bush and Cheney between 2000 and 2008. Zero, none, Nada.
How they want to sue to stop the healthcare bill and Glen Beck want to pick up a gun and start a revolution, bring it on you stupid sonuvabitch. I'm armed.
If you can't speak Republican it's because, you're not stupid and braindead. The motto of the Republican Party is, "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, you baffle them with bullshit. You can see what it has done to the Teabagger Party. Their totally full of bullshit and crazy. >:( :o :-[

What they really speak is $$$$$$. Of course, both sides of the party (left wing and right wing, dems and repubs, respectively) speak that language, but the right side is especially egregious in their goal of completely wiping out the middle class with the distribution of wealth to the wealthiest few of their friends. My only problem now, as a libertarian, is why should I be forced to pay into a healthcare system that is still for profit, with mandates for the financiers (insurance companies) to gain even more suckers, I mean customers. Did we really gain anything?
Dan, This is the way I feel, We had to do "SOMETHING". We had the Republicans who wants to protect the rich predatory corporations, who provide them with money.
Number two, we had some religious wacko Democrats who would have sunk the whole thing on abortion. Something that is not their business. It's between a woman and her doctor.
We must keep both Parties feet to the fire and stop the feast in Washington, feeding the predatory super-rich capitalist our money.
If there are people who don't want to pay for health insurance, fine. Let them sign a form, that they will not ask for or receive (for any reason) any form of healthcare that the taxpayer paid, I sure would go for that. In my 72 years of living, I sure have seen a large group of rich sonuvabitchs in their older years, who didn't have two pennies to rub together. Who in their last days found the Lord and had the church and charity's bring them food. These predatory people are like lamphey ells. They suck on any fish and suck the life out of it. Kill it and swim off looking for another fish to kill.
Dan, we're the only country in the modern world that doesn't have healthcare and we are 8th or 9th in healthcare and healthcare cost. Is there something wrong with this picture?
The Troll
all of you guys are so clueless and have tunnel vision, you see what you want to see and make stories out of it.........you have NO f!@king idea of what conservatives are all about, you are spoon fed.....I find it so funny that you claim that me and I are simply following blindly the republicans, and I am NOW convinced that it is YOU guys who are picking up talking points and using small examples and casting them among a large group of people....
honestly, you don't have a clue to how the average conservative person in this country is thinking...or understand our intent and beliefs.....you pull shit out of your asses and claim it to be true.
Troll, you are 72 years old and have your health BECAUSE you live in a land where healthcare was brought to the next level....our health care costs ARE more because we are one of the largest nations on earth, we do MORE R&D than any other nation on earth...hospitals write off MORE free health to those who CANT pay than any other country on earth....we give MORE to charities than any other country on earth...
we don't NEED a complete OVERHAUL of our HC system...we need to fix a few problems.......this is nothing more than a political power move by the left....PERIOD!
Henry, of all of the people here on the Unknown Zone you are the most stupid "mother" even worse the "ME". I don't know Conservatives? I have been around and worked for these greedy and selfish bastard all of my life. But I have an allergy to bullshit and the older I get the worse it gets and when I read your stuff, the allergy breaks out and the hair stands up on the back of my neck. I don't know stupid Conservatives. Just look at the 8 years under Bush, Chaney and the Republicans. You damn dummies, almost gave us another Hubert Hoover depression. Lie, cheat, fornicate and try to stop any thing for the good of the common people. You people worship at the feet of PREDATORY CAPITALISM, where there is no loyalty to the people and you worship the bottom line, MONEY!
The main reason I'm as in good health is because, when I was in junior hight school, I wanted to work for the Big Three Auto companies. I work for GM for a short time and Ford for 38 years. Thank God, that's for you chicken hawk, I got to work with the UAW, who got us Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance, I had it for 51 years, and got us safe working conditions. Plus a good wage. Remember you don't think poor, untrained and unskilled people deserve a living wage. Your are lucky Henry, in the USA it isn't a crime to be stupid.

God forbid the government is involved in our day to day lives! The sky will fall and they will take your guns if the government gets involved!
This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the United States Department of Energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the Federal Communications Commission regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. I watched this while eating my breakfast of United States Department of Agriculture inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the Food and Drug Administration.
At the appropriate time as regulated by the United States congress and kept accurate by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the United States Naval Observatory, I get into my National Highway Traffic Safety Administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads built by the local, state, and federal Departments of Transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the Environmental Protection Agency, using legal tender issued by the Federal Reserve Bank. On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be sent out via the United States Postal Service and drop the kids off at the public school.
After work, I drive my NHTSA car back home on DOT roads, to my house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and fire marshal's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all its valuables thanks to the local police department.
I then log onto the internet which was developed by the defense advanced research projects administration and post on freerepublic.com and fox news forums about how socialsism in medicine is bad because the government can't do anything right.

Well, nothing that was mentioned had mandates... the electricity provided for that shower by municipal water supply...or the weather you watched on your TV...or the food that you ate that you did not grow that had to be inspected before you bought it...or the prescription drugs that you had to take is NOT mandatory....Not a single thing you talked about is Mandatory... will you be fined if you don't watch the weather every morning? Will you be fined if you grow your own food to eat for breakfast? Will you be fined if you use well water instead of municipal water? No....but you will be fined if you do not have adequate health care insurance under the new law...Americans are getting tired of THIS congress (and past congress's) implementing and ramming trillions of dollars bills of wasteful spending...this HC bill has a potential of bankrupting this nation...the gov control is merely icing on the cake...enough is enough.

Yes, they are each federally regulated via mandates created to create and implement them. The drugs you take, from those prescribed to those purchased over the counter, are regulated by the FDA and that branch of the government levies million dollar fines to those who attempt to circumvent or knowingly violate its policies and procedures. Same for the FDA, DOT, etc., etc., etc.
The health insurance reform bill will help assure you do not have to pay for the "free" services those without insurance obtain. It will provide a means for providers and services to be compensated for services/goods rendered in caring for the sick and infirm; removing the excuse of providers and insurers that they have to increase the charges for services and premiums to make up for those who have no insurance. Thus theoretically leading to decreased premiums and costs to those who require treatment.
They are regulating the insurance industry not controlling healthcare providers. . .

I'm sorry Henry, but you're wrong. Tell me exactly how the government is going to be running health care? The answer is, it isn't. The Republicans stripped the "public option" out of the bill. Remember that?
There is no government control of health care with passage of this bill. Period.

My only problem with the bill; no public (not for profit) option. Now, the mandate only serves to increase the greedy bastard's coffers within the financial sector. All profits should be driven out of health care, from big pharma to the insurance conglomerates that should have failed, but were bailed out (at our expense and a double dip of our money, at that). Profit motivates big pharma to keep us sick, and not cure a goddamn thing. Profits motivates doctors to only practice the last drug-rep's pitch instead of real medicine. Profits allow the financial sector to play roulette on wall street with our money instead of actually treating anyone. Bottom line; it is immoral to profit from the sickness of people, fucking period.
