BLUEFIELD - A frigid blast of arctic air tightened its grip on the region Monday as falling snow continued to make for difficult driving conditions.
A high of only 19 degrees is expected today following a bitterly cold start to the morning. A winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service continues through 6 a.m. Tuesday. An additional 1 to 3 inches of snow is predicted for today with another 2 to 4 inches of snow possible tonight.
The extended forecast is calling for more bitterly cold air — with a high of only 20 degrees predicted Tuesday and a high of 23 degrees expected for Wednesday.http://www.bdtonline.com/local/local_story_004122418.html (http://www.bdtonline.com/local/local_story_004122418.html) It is COLD here!!!! feels like 0

The high temps here are in the low 20's.
Been that way for a week now.
You guys are having a heat wave compared to us. . . :spooked: Highs in the teens for the last 4-5 days and predicted for the rest of the week.
I'm going out into it to obtain fuel for my secondary heating devices. . .
It is STILL snowing! Hey Sandy - I will send you all you want! :icon_twisted:

Hi nota! Nice to see yah again!
I think I need to move!
 Hi Palehorse, good to see you too. I have been out of touch. It is snowing here again. I love the snow, but enough is enough! Between the cold and the snow....I feel like a Polar Bear!
Nah.
Polar bears aren't nearly as sensitive to the snow.
 Maybe an iguana then. I heard on the news where there blood was freezing and they were just falling out of trees. That would be me. Give me sunshine anytime over the cold.
They are freezing. A lot of people are saying good riddance to them. They're a nuisance pest in some areas here in South Florida.
