Title: Army blues
Post by: LOsborne on December 22, 2009, 07:13:33 AM
Did y'all see this?

So military personnel now face court martial if they get pregnant, or impregnate someone else. Even if they are married. To each other!

There is an obvious fix here. Only deploy homosexual soldiers. Oh yeah, I forgot. That is a court-martial offense too.

If you want to have babies DON'T become a SOLDIER....it is REALLY pretty simple.....We need soldiers to protect and defend...........it seems to hinder ones ability to function as a trained soldier when your carring a baby...at least that is what common sense tells me...

Henry, did you miss the line that said those who impregnate soldiers will also be punished? Enforcement should be fun. Paternity tests for all the little G.I. fetuses. What a clever use of funds.

But this rule does give the soldier who can't stand it any longer another option besides suicide.

seriously, wft?.....did you miss the part where they are taking about military personel in Iraq, those under the Army general commanding U.S. forces in northern Iraq ....It may seem harsh, but the bottom line is.....they are ther to serve a mission....NOT to start a family.

they are NOT talking about your everyday soldier in the military....

I wonder how many will opt for a secret abortion, of some type, to avoid court martial.

He's also banning porn and consumption of alcohol.

Talk about a "god" complex

Someone should remind this idiot that today's army is composed of an entirely voluntary group of individuals. Him running about kicking everybody in the ass over the mistakes of a few is not going to help maintain headcount levels where they'll need to be over the next 10 years. . .

A bit ironic that we want the young and strong to defend our country, but expect them to forgo their natural drive to reproduce. Wait, is this the catholic church we're talking about?
