QuoteGraphic details of bestiality, child rape and sodomy emerged in court documents filed Thursday in the case of a Missouri family accused of horrific crimes against their relatives.
One of the alleged victims was about 7 years old when she and her sisters attempted to run away in 1988, after enduring years of sexual abuse at the hands of her male relatives
QuoteThe girls made it to a neighbor's house before returning home, where, as punishment for running away, they were forced to watch a relative sodomize their brother, according to the complaint.
QuoteBurrell Mohler Sr., David Mohler and Jared Mohler are lay ministers in the Community of Christ, the Independence, Missouri-based organization said in a statement. None of the three served in leadership roles or worked with children, the group said.
Well gee, , they're Christian so they only have to ask for forgiveness. I'm sure the victims will be able to turn the other cheek.

Ya know, you guys sure do have a way of lumpin' all Christians together. I'm not, as I have stated before, a Christian but all this Christian bashin' is gettin' a little old. What these people did was wrong, yes, but to post it in such a way as to try to prove a point with it is just a bit much.
I don't know which of you is better at missing the point or misconstruing a comment. Did I lump all Christians together? or did I point out the idiocy of their common doctrine?

These men are abominations and clearly evil. I can't see any reason why god fearing people would feel like they was part of there own. It's clear that they wasn't real Christians. Jesus did save a man on the cross for the crime of murder and if they've prayed to him then they might have a chance, but the verdict is in his hands now.
No "me" it doesn't read that way. When I say they're Christians I'm not sayin ALL Christians behave that way; I'm pointing out that they are members of a particular cult. Not all members of this cult commit the crimes these men did, but most of them use the Holy Bible as a reference and therefore believe that sincere prayer absolves sin. Do you know many christians who say the bible is BS?

A few but I know of a bunch who take it way to seriously and literally. The ten commandments are about the only thing I'll go for and they're just common sense IMO. Well, 9 of them anyway. If there truly is a father of all of us he's probably up there saying, like Bill Cosby say's, "I brought you into this world and I can take you out", 'cause there is a lot of bad stuff going on lately.
Bad karma delivers it. It's just harvest time. . .
me if you know people who call themselves Christians who don't belive that the bible is the inerrant word of God then other Christians will say that they aren't Christians. It's a package deal.
To me, it's insane to think that someone could spend the better part of ten years ruining lives and believe that they can pray and be forgiven or even worse "change their lives" and become pastors and think that should erase all of the previous attrocities.
I wonder if any of the victims are believers.

It would depend on a lot of things one being if they recognized their abusers as devils (evil) and believe God (good) delivered them from the evil doers.
