Who else is enjoying this show on FX? I see PH has their patch as his avatar, so he must be watching. I started watching last year, and while it was interesting, I find this year's shows to have stepped it up some. I am definitely getting my T and A fix, now that the Sopranos are gone.
I have caught a few scenes. I don't have cable at my house, and hadn't heard of it before I saw Brent watching it. I don't think I like it much. But then I'm not a big biker fan. I'm more into Law & Order.
The first season is in the stores on DVD or whatever. You might want to give it a try, it has serious as well as funny moments. Not your typical biker flick.
Oh man, I was wondering how long it would take before someone would recognize my avatar as their patch! You bet I am watching and I am loving every second of it. Some of those guys remind me of some long time friends; bikers with brains.
Loving the bikes in it too. Some really nice rides. . .
I have not missed a show since the series started. I have it programed on my DVR in case I forget or am busy. I like it really well.
I read about it in a past issue of "H.O.G." magazine but never had watched it until late one night a few weeks ago. Now I am ravenous over it and scan the guide looking for it! :icon_twisted:
Things are heating up in charming are they not? :spooked:
Things are getting serious now, that's for sure. With the guys out of jail (for now anyway) the action should pick up.
Man I hate waitng until Tuesday.

Jax is going Nomad, the feds are using SOA's to manipulate IRA radicals, and it would appear the SAMCRO brotherhood is in danger of ending bloody!
Did anyone notice that the two guys (MR masturbator and the Leader of the Nords) who were left to burn in the fire were not mentioned? Did they get out, or did the writers miss that point?

I still am waiting for that answer. . .
I'm also pissed. . . I DVR'd the last episode and saw where Opie asked Clay to give the old man a pass for trying to shoot him, then the recording stopped! What happened after or was that the ending?
I am starting to hate DVR's, or at least comcraps DVR... The damned thing cuts out right at the hour, even when an episode "runs over". . . Guess that's what I get for initiating the recording based upon the schedule in the program guide. . .
Also, I didn't get a good look at the bike Opie is restoring, but it looked like an old electra glide??? Whatever it is that thing looks awesome to me! :drool1:
Yes, Clay gave Piney a pass, as they have bigger fish to fry. That was pretty much the end of it. Well, other than Tig telling Clay to let Jemma know that Clay still loved her. Clay goes into the office, asks if Jemma is ready to go. She say no, she has some work to do. Clay turns around saying OK, reaches over and closes the office door, sweeps part of the paperwork off the desk, take a hold of Jemma and says, "I want my wife." At that point it starts into a good (are there really any bad ones?) porno. And that is the end of the show.
Big showdown this week between the Son's and the white supremacists.
If you set your DVR to record the series, it should pick up the 5 minute synopsis over the weekend. At least mine does on the satellite.
Thanks for the update! I usually set it weekly but intend to set it to record the entire series once the new season starts. In the meantime I am hoping for the season 1 DVD set for my upcoming annual aging celebration. . .
I may be going to sat myself here soon. They have a much higher level of HD channels, and lower prices; each key points of interest in my household right now! Just have to choose which one, and figure out how I am going to retain the broadband service with the cable company at the same time. . .
Clay and Jax seem to have buried the hatchet now that Opie knows the truth of what happened to his woman. Gemma is the cement holding the MC together right now, with her advice to Chib, her confession to Jax and Clay, and "handling" of Chief Wayne. I thought for a moment she and Tig were going to bump uglies, but I guess Tig has a conscience after all! I've known many real life individuals just like Tig and I cannot see a one of them backing away like he did. (Clay would have had his hide over the double betrayal of his wife and Sgt At Arms! :spooked: )
I think Clay has a special place in his heart for Opie, and is carrying a lot of guilt over what transpired with his late wife. He definitely cooled his jets once Gemma filed him and Jax in on her rape. Big difference in his treatment of the brothers, Jax, and especially Gemma. His reaction to Chib's confession, induced by Gemma, took me totally off guard! I thought he'd go nuclear on him, especially after he intervened on his behalf with the IRA for Crib's wife and daughter.
Those Neo Nazi's are going to get a double dose of hell fire here on earth cause you know it's just building up inside of Clay! Jax and Opie both have pent up anger to vent on them as well!
I look for a coup next year within the MC, lead by Jax and Opie. There isn't a tighter set within the group, and that was clearly demonstrated when Opie instantly accepted Jax's reasoning for not telling him what had happened to his woman, though Jax knew all along. I kind of had the impression Opie was a kind of grunt role, but all of sudden he's becoming a major player with the VP's ear and devotion. He's got some major markers due him from the club too!
Man I am big time hooked on this show. They'll probably cancel it or something now!
Remember, the new season won't start until next fall, so you will have a long time to wait for the show again, after this season ends in a couple of weeks.
I think the show has a good following, so let's hope it does not get cancelled.

Yeah, that's a big problem for me. It was the one thing I hated so much about the Sopranos, waiting nearly a year for the new season to start. Root cause of missing episodes!
Man was the episode tonight a bit of a mind twist or what?
I was pretty damned happy to see Doc stand up for herself and put the hurt on, and fear into, that hospital administrator. (Kick her ass Doc!) :icon_twisted: I think Gemma pointing out she's the VP's old lady and that commands respect kind of opened her eyes a bit! (Once again, Gemma to the rescue!)
Oh and the plan to unite with the drug dealers against their common enemy, would make Tony Soprano proud!
White power got a good beat down but the law saved his ass. . .and the cigar man's too!
My best guess is that Clay kills the cigar guy and Jax gets the head racist.
Next week's 90 minute finale should be a nail biter!
I have not watched it yet, Some of us have to go to bed so we can get up and go to work ya know. I'll watch it this evening.
Gemma weilds far more power in that club than you might think. It's been obvious from the start of last season. Sneaky wimmin!
You had to know that getting Zobelle and Weston would take until the last show. Otherwise it would be anti-climactic. I think one of the other groups, Mayans, 9'ers, or even the Nords will end up getiing Zobelle and Weston. Or maybe they will get each other????

Watch it. It's a twisty one. . . :icon_twisted:
We watched it Wednesday night. You were right, it was a twisty one. The wife says I can't watch the finale until she gets back home next weekend. I don't know if I can wait that long, since it looks to be a good one.
It was interesting to see Tara come to grips with being Jax's "old lady." Not only did she set the hospital admin straight, she used her position to let her know how things were going to be from now on. Ah, if were only that easy in real life.
No kidding!
Since the POTUS was on last night, I decided to extend the recording time for SOA, just in case. Good damn thing I did too. I had some other shows recording earlier and they pushed back and into the SOA time slot.
I was home at lunch time and fast forwarded through it to make sure I got it. Imagine my surprise when it started at almost the end. :gha: I let it run, and it started over at the 30 minute mark and went all the way to the end. Luckily FX showed it a second time, and I have it. :bliss:
I did see the ending, and was not happy with that, but it does make for a dandy cliff hanger. How soon til next season?????????????? :chop:
I missed it completely!
Now I'll have to look for a re-run of it!
It comes on again at midnight this Friday, and I've already set the DVR to record it; modifying the time for a half hour before and after the scheduled time frame. . .
I'll leave mine on the DVR until I know you were able to watch your recording, just in case.
I stayed up and watched it last night, and recorded it as well. :icon_twisted:
Disappointing? Where do I start!
- Half Sack gets gutted by the Irish?! Now he's dead and without getting patched.
- Cigar Guy gets left cowering behind a store full of children to fly away to obscurity?!
- Gemma's in a trick bag courtesy of the Club Fed Witch. (I hate that character!)
- And worst of all the Irish have Jax's infant son?!
Damned! A whole year to find out what happens?!
Yep, I sure hated seeing Halfsack get stuck. Maybe they will patch him over before/during the funeral. :(
Cigar guy has now lost everything dear to him, thanks to his own greed. He will have to live with that. Will he be back later? Time will tell.
Gemma's in deep do. But remember, the other feds heard two shots, before Gemma got there? :-\
And yes, that Irish bastard has Abel. He has gone too far now. Will they turn Jimmy O on him? We can only hope. :icon_twisted:
I guess Dalby was forgotten. No body found in the fire, and he never showed up again. That was a little sloppy when it comes to details.
I was glad to see the Cutlass remain unscathed. When Gemma got behind the wheel I thought I was going to have to cover my eyes, but it turned out OK. :smitten:
They left the door open on a few things, and I am going to hate waiting till next season.
Me too! It is going to seem like forever before they return.
Remember, "2 fingers" was deemed an unreliable witness so I am betting Dalby comes to the rescue when it comes to the insurance claim for the fire. . . Insurance company will not pay unless there is a witness deemed reliable. . .
I'm going to have to watch it again because I think there was a glitch with the firearms used in shooting people. If I recall correctly the fed ended up with the wrong weapon and used it. . . I may be wrong though. . .
I read on the FX/SOA site that the show is coming back (season 3, with season 4 already planned) in September. Season 2 re-runs to start in July.

I cannot wait until SOA starts again!
Re-runs are on now, new season starts September 7. :chop: :chop: :chop: :chop:
Tuesday, 7PM on FX! SOA ride again! 8)
Okay, so I am now caught up on SOA, since it is now on "On demand"!
Gemma is in over her head now, and dragging everyone with her. Jax is on the edge, (and who wouldn't be given the Irish have kidnapped his infant son), and the bulk of the leadership group stand under indictment. . . Yikes!

Business as usual for these guys. Stephen King did a nice job as the cleaner. Definitely a weird character.

Oh yeah, didn't he though! Man I had to rub my eyes when he first appeared on camera, I was shocked and thought I was seeing things!
So. . . you been watching Samcro this season or what?
If not, you're missing some major drama man!
Have not missed a moment, but things sure are getting out of hand.
I'm waiting to see how Clay weasels his way out of everything he has done this season. That is going to take some creative writing.

My money says Clay gets killed; one way or another. I can see Jax offing him once he gets a look at his mom's face, and mom telling him everything; including how Clay put the hit on Tara and ended up ruining her career with that hand in the door. Jax will go nuke on Clay.
I can also see Clay getting hooked up in some legal issues, and deciding to go out with a fight, and getting killed int eh process. (Justice served on all fronts).
Clay has gone off the deep end though. . . and he's got to go down one way or another.
Oh man. . . "John Teller reaches out from the grave", is what they should have called this season. . .!
The "letters". . . it all revolved around the letters, and it is as if JT is all around Jax now.
Jax knew the Mexicans were bad news, but he saw the deal with the Irish Kings as a last big payday and a way out. He should have listened to his instincts from the get-go. They were dead on. . .
Now, he's hooked to the core, and Tara is now set to replace Jemma (sic?) as the Queen of the Sons.
Don't know how it will shake out next season, but I will be frustrated until next fall when the Sons return. . .
With Jax as Prez, and Chibs as his Sgt. at Arms, things will be interesting. Look for Clay and Tig to attempt a return to power. I do suspect Opie will stay on and be the new VP, but you never know. Of course we still have the Irish and the cartel to deal with. Ah the twists and turns. ;)

Whatever happens you can bet your sweet bippie that it will have something to do with those pages Jemma (Gemma?) removed and burned from the letters. . .
Update time

Word is this is the last season for the Sons. . .
I hope it isn't lame. . .
The wife read in a trade journal her boss gets, that Sons have signed up for two more seasons. That way Sutter can bring everything to a proper end.
Just hope it isn't lame. . .
So far "lame" would not describe the events. Gemma getting drilled from behind for all the world to see in the first episode. ;D Then Opie getting killed off this week. :( I really hated to see that character bite the dust, but he definitely took one for the club, going out in style. Tig's daughter getting torched was pretty brutal, but I suspect his revenge on Pope will be more than adequate.

I'd say thanks for the spoiler, (I dvr the series since work is impeding on my viewing time), but the CNN story on J. Lewis's death (Half Sac) already did that!
Yeah, some brutal stuff going down. I haven't watched it yet but I knew something was up with Opie when he did what he did the last episode I watched. . . I absolutely HATE Opie being DEAD!
Oh hell. . . I just watched it.
Jax is scheming and I bet he's trying to figure a way to hook up Pope with all the dirty law enforcement, including the prison guards, with his RICO deal with the Latinos/CIA.
I cannot believe he'll burn Trig when he's done with him, especially since he's now got leverage over him.
But one never knows with this series. . . :icon_twisted:
Man. . . I like Opie. . . WTF. . . But, as he did last week, he "manned up" and took one for the club. I'm just glad Jax laid all the cards on the table with him.
It came up on my computer home page that Johnny Lewis of "Sons of Anarchy" was found dead in a driveway caused from falling of jumping from a roof or balcony. Apparently Lewis killed his landlady and attacking neighbors. Investigations is ongoing.
More twists and turns than a pretzel. We will watch last nights episode tonight on the DVR. Can't wait to see who falls off that building.
