Yes, you douchebag.
That's not exactly true.
The lack of oversight in general during the Bush years helped fuel this crisis. And now there are hearings that towards the end of his administration, there was considerable strongarming to try to save some of these entities.
It is certainly disappointing that Obama has bled the coffers dry throwing good borrowed money after bad.... And, in his rush to address everything all at once, and with the constant fearmongering from the media, I believe has cost us way more jobs.
It's one thing to promote converting jobs from big vehicle manufacturing to green energy products of some sort, preserving and creating jobs in the process... But to just talk so many entities down, thinking they can force company managements to do their bidding, is proving to be a disaster right now.
The Gweinies have had decades to walk their own talk. And they've had some powerful money people behind them, like Soros, who could have financed the R&D for this alternative energy they are always talking about.
Of course, conversion to natural gas could make us independent of foreign oil, but I doubt that's Obama's goal. I think he wants to bust us down to 3rd world status.

Your post almost made sense before you added this tripe.

You probably want to pop a couple of antacids then, because I've only just begun.
Obama came out of nowhere, and was clearly clueless in the debates, and only given softball questions after the seasoned politicians had already given most of the details in their responses.
Still, he has not been forthcoming about who is really is. We know the people he has associated with, and who has helped him move up in the system.
We know his wife surrendered her law license early on in her career, but the info is buried on why other than it was before the court. It doesn't take much of an imagination since she sat in Jeremiah Wright's church for so long, g'damning America. We know she's made a few slips of the tongue, indicating she was disgusted with America until Obama managed to get himself nominated.
And those researching his birth certificate, also knowing his family history, are made fun of... even though when they started nipping at his heels wanting access to his bar association records, that Obama quickly surrendered his license, too, thereby stopping any further investigation.
I was one of those voters who early on watched the platform websites of the various candidates, trying to make up my own mind, and Obama's platform morphed constantly. I CAN tell you that early on, he gave the thumb's up to big business, and we can see that he has been very generous bailing them out for their own catastrophic business decisions, while the middle class plunges into unemployment.
And, he's only a great orator when his teleprompter is working properly.
That's a start....
I would expect nothing less from someone who can't conjugate the verb 'go'.

Ignore him Free, .... Ex is like RAINMAN, with words instead of numbers....he is especially obsessed with dangling participles...
I don't know, Henry... I found his ability to refute my long list of opinions to be breathtakingly... expected. LOL.
It would have been nice if the average American had done their research before voting.
It also would be nice if the media returned to their journalistic news-reporting roots, instead of being a 4th branch of government.
And, it would have REALLY been nice if the GOP had put up someone other than McBush. :)

I agree with you on ALL accounts..!..
I think the average American did their research by watching Oprah.
and, I think this was a great wake-up call for the GOP...and to get BACK to it's consevative roots.

I would submit that literacy is directly relative to the quality of one's research and your ability to parrot the O'Reillys and Limbaughs of the world doesn't suggest much depth in either.
