Nope, but I do think it is funny that, like ester eggs, the symbolism of the female form in the "hearts" we throw around on Valentine's Day, just float through the commercial world with no conscious realization by "the masses" of what they are.

Actually I was thinking of the pagan (Wiccan I believe) origins of the rabbit and eggs. Of course I have no problem with the fertility rites either. :wink:

I would suggest the pagan origins of the rabbit, eggs, baby chicks, etc ARE about fertility rites. Of course, christians are looking for jesus' rebirth from an egg, just as muslims are looking for mohammed's rebirth from a man...
