I saw this while driving through the country, and thought it would make a good picture.

Dang I thought it was mine.... ;D
That is a neat pic. Might sound a bit strange but I wouldn't mind having that framed and hanging in my living room. I love pic's like that and really get into old farm equipment. I might not know a particular thing is for but anything old like that fascinates me.
me: I guess you'd LOVE our place, then. Most of what we've got around here is useless old junk. The worst piece is sitting here at the keyboard typing this to you!
Call me Fred "Pa" Sanford.

That old junk wasn't always useless though.... I used to love going to farm auctions and checking out all the neat stuff. I'm a tool freak too and that's usually the first table I go to then it's on to the equipment and other goodies.
me-- I think we might coulda made a pioneer woman out of you...and that's a compliment. You can cook, you know your way around tools and farm equipment; here's your final exam: can you shoot and skin a squirrel? ;D

No but my any one of my daughters could.... The youngest daughter has bagged 4 deer, 1 more than her hubby...
me: Most gratifying to hear that your family has been instilled with respect for the 2nd Amendment. I'm afraid it's going to come under VERY HEAVY fire in the next four years. The support of everyone who believes in the legal ownership and use of firearms will be crucial if we are to retain this Constitutionally given right. Sorry if the focus of this thread has drifted away from that great photo taken by 442. Pa on a soapbox
Oh yes, sorry about that 442. Your picture did stir up a lot of memories though. Thanks for sharing.
