Absolutely agree, Henry. I don't think he could be anything but excellent, no matter how bad the material might be. Great actor, often overlooked.

Jack Elam -- one of the best character actors i've ever seen.

Though he is long gone, I have not watched a Jimmy Stewart Movie where he was not a joy to watch....

Also, Anthony Hopkins is a pretty tough actor...I don't like all of his movies, but he is great as the roles he plays...

Great actors or good roles?:

Kevin Kostner has played some awesome roles! "Robin Hood"..."the Postman"..."JFK"..."Wyatt Earp"..."Dances with Wolves"...

Bruce Willis -"Armageddon" ...LOVED that movie.

Tom Cruise (although a freak now) has been in great & classic movies! "The Outsiders"..."Risky Business"... "Top Gun"..."Jerry Magquire"..."A Few Good Men"

Tom Hanks - "Forrest Gump"..."Cast Away"..."The Green Mile"..."Apollo 13"...way too many to list!
